The first of two attempts at the "1000 people online" Achievement for NBA Live 07 went down on the 10th, hosted by Achieve360Points.com. It started at 8:00 PM EST and they had the required 1000 online users at 8:10 PM EST. Unfortunately, it didn't go down without a hiccup or two. Apparently, while people who actually were in the lobby got the Achievement, everyone else who was just listening to the ESPN Radio or another activity while online did not. That sucks, since those very people counted towards the total online count. A360P is going to try to get a hold of EA and see if they can award the Achievement to those deserving who did not get acknowledged during the event. Well, at the very least, they have another shot on the 25th, and after this past weekend's "troubleshooting", they know what to do to be eligible for the 100 Gamerscore. Were you at the event, and if you didn't get the Achievement, are you going to give it another shot on the 25th?

I got it within 12 minutes and then stayed online trying to help others out. I basically just listened to ESPN radio feature. I did use the plug n play with my gamepad but my friend just used his wireless and still got the achievement.

I was able to get this achievement by using a wired controller and hanging out in the lobby areas. I even left my 360 idle and I left for a few hours and when I came home I recieved the achievement.
BTW, anyone out there need the multiplayer co-op achievement? I tried to get this last night but the buggy EA game hung on us. Let me know if you want to knock this acheivement out tonite and I'll send you a game invite.

EA will do NOTHING for anyone who wasn't awarded the achievement. As those of us who've dealt with EA's so-called "tech support" in the past can attest, they will NEVER tweak your stats or anything else for ANY reason.
