PGR bundle is real, if you're Canadian

The much speculated PGR bundle, including (you guessed it) Project Gotham Racing 3, a premium 360, and Marketplace points, is a reality. Like, a totally real reality. There is, however, one little caveat, it's for Canada only. What's more, there is currently no plan to offer the package anywhere else. Just to make it absolutely clear:

"This is a Canadian-only bundle, so speculation about a US version will not be realized."

Ouch. Kind of harsh for a PR release. Still, if you're a hoser with CAD $499 to spare, you can expect to start seeing the bundle on August 9th.

3.
With the recent rise of the canadian dollar, it is nice to see MS do somthing to 'fix' the price difference.

Any idea how many MS points are being bundled with this?

6. Is this really all that much better than the premium bundle, with PGR3 and an extra wireless controller plus the charging system that they have been selling at Costco's all over the U.S. since January?

10. They're only doing that because they refuse to adjust the 360 price to reflect to the smaller gap between US and CAN currency.. lame!

Actually, that's $500 USD, so with conversion and shipping/handling plus customs fees, it's probably not that good. Also, this article fails to mention that there's also 3 months free of XBOX Live Gold.
